OTEGlobe announces that according to its BoD decision, Mr. Dinos Andreou is appointed as OTEGlobe’s new CEO, replacing Mr. Michael Tsamaz who recently assumed duties of Deputy CEO at Cosmote S.A., OTE Group’s mobile telecommunications company. Mr. Michael Tsamaz maintains his position as the Chairman of OTEGlobe’s BoD.
By joining OTEGlobe at its start-up in 2000 as Chief Financial Officer, Mr. Dinos Andreou contributed significantly to the creation, development and establishment of OTEGlobe’s business, in Southern Eastern Europe’s National Wholesale Telecommunications Market. Mr. Andreou is also a BoD member of OTEnet Telecoms Ltd in Cyprus from November 2004.
Prior to OTEGlobe he had worked for 4 years as Financial Director for Global One Communications Hellas S.A., holding responsibilities for finance, human recourses as well as legal issues. He started his career in 1989 in Coopers & Lybrand, where after continuous promotions both in Athens’ branch and London’s headquarters, he was assigned the Senior Manager position.
He holds a BSc in Mathematics with Operational Research and an MSc in Operational Research, from the University of London.
