OTEGLOBE introduces IPv6 in its IP Network
Responding to the latest developments of the international telecommunications wholesale market, OTEGLOBE introduces IPv6 (Internet Protocol Version 6) technology in its PanEuropean IP network. The company therefore becomes one of the first int’l internet carriers in Greece fully supporting IPv6 technology and is ready to proceed with the smooth transition from IPv4 to IPv6.
Construction of the ‘Silphium’ cable across the Mediterranean
Libyan International Telecommunications Company (“LITC”) and OTEGLOBE have announced a partnership to collaborate on the development of new and diverse connectivity from North Africa to the global internet hubs. The collaboration includes both the construction of a submarine fiber optic cable across the Mediterranean and onward terrestrial bandwidth over multiple routes on the OTEGLOBE network.

OTEGLOBE, the international wholesale carrier of the Greek incumbent OTE and MTN Cyprus, a member of MTN Group with corporate presence in 21 countries and over 103 million customers around the world, have announced their agreement for the provisioning of international VPN Services in the Cypriot corporate market.
The agreement concerns the provisioning of integrated interconnection solutions with major business hubs outside Cyprus to MTN’s Corporate Customers, by capitalizing on OTEGLOBE’s international extensive optical Networks across Europe.
OTEGLOBE - Albtelecom: Partnership Extension through new Internet Transit
OTEGLOBE, the international wholesale carrier of OTE Group of Companies, has signed a deal with Albtelecom, Albania’s incumbent operator, to offer Internet Transit services. With this agreement OTEGLOBE will serve a significant portion of Albtelecom’s rapidly developing internet needs.
