OTEGLOBE Doubles International TransBalkan Network Capacity by Deploying 500 Gb/s Super-channels with the Infinera DTN-X Platform

Sunnyvale, CA and Athens, Greece – March 18th, 2013 - OTEGLOBE, the leading international telecommunications provider in Greece and the Balkans and Infinera, (NASDAQ: INFN), a leading provider of Digital Optical Networks, completed the upgrade of OTEGLOBE’s international TransBalkan Network (TBN) by deploying 500 Gigabit per second (Gb/s) super channels with the Infinera DTN-X platform. The Infinera DTN-X platform is deployed in OTEGLOBE's TransBalkan network which stretches from Greece to Germany across more than 8,000 km and is designed to offer multi-Terabits of capacity.
